The big game wildlife that live in the Upper Green River Valley are an important part of our ecosystem and heritage. As human development increases in the Upper Green River Valley, long-used pathways animals have used to seasonally move up and down the valley are unintentionally cut off. Researchers have documented that healthy pronghorn herd populations can reach to summer range all the way to Grand Teton National Park. We hope that through information and education about these big game movement patterns that people will gain a better understanding of the needs of wildlife to use and share the landscape so we can make more informed decisions that take into consideration keeping wildife migration corridors open in our land management and development processes into the future.
